About the event
The course is designed to introduce Islamic Psychology and modern Western Psychology in a non- judgmental manner. The Islamic content is taken from the Noble Quran. The English translation of Sahee International is used from the website of Noble Quran Legacy.Quran.com . Islamic Psychology contains excerpts from Dr Abdullah Rothman's [Cambridge Muslim college] book on Developing a model of Islamic Psychology and Psychotherapy.
The course does not foster leanings towards any particular school of thought. The goal is to create a safe space to analyze the similarities and differences between Islam and Psychology
The nine sessions take place weekly on Wednesdays from 5pm to 7pm. Participants should bring a notebook and a pen. Regular attendance is crucial, and we will start on time.
